Taylor DiRoberto

Pastor

Taylor grew up attending a Roman Catholic church for much of his childhood. When he was seventeen, he began attending an evangelical church. After several months of hearing the Gospel preached and watching how the Christians of this church loved one another, he repented of his sins and trusted in Jesus alone as his king and savior. Throughout college, Taylor began to sense a desire for pastoring and planting churches and has had the privilege of serving as Pastor of Outreach & Evangelism at Northland Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. Taylor serves as the Accelerate Director at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Taylor is married to Sara, and they have one daughter – Cora.

Lucas Jones

Pastor

Lucas grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa in a home that was far from God. During his senior year in high school, Lucas played dodgeball weekly with a group of Christians and noticed true love and kindness between them. As he questioned the source of this joy and love, he was told of the work of Jesus on the cross. That year, he repented of his sins and trusted in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. During college, he began to feel a call to ministry and earned a bachelor's degree in Theology. After marrying his wife, Kaileen, they moved to Kansas City's Northland. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity and looking forward to a life of serving the Lord and introducing others to the same love and joy that drew him in!

Travis Montgomery

Pastor

Travis was raised attending a Bible-believing church in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks. After the Spirit convicted him of his sin and self-righteousness at a young age, Travis renounced his sin and trusted Christ for salvation. Through ministry roles as a worship leader, teacher, and pastor, Travis began to get a bigger picture of the God who saved him and the Gospel he had been taught. After marrying Lauren, his high school sweetheart, Travis moved to the KC Northland in 2017 to study and work at Midwestern Seminary, where he’s currently serving in Church Partnerships and pursuing a PhD in biblical theology.

He continued to grow in the church where he learned to take ownership of his faith and determine what authentic Christianity should look like in the “Bible Belt.” Hayden attended the University of Arkansas, where he received a degree in Industrial Engineering. Through involvement in church and campus ministries during college, Hayden began to realize a gifting and desire for pastoral ministry. He and his wife, Haley, moved to Kansas City in 2016, where he completed his Master of Divinity and now serves as Assistant Director of Admissions at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
